RALPH COPLEMAN
Mr. Copleman’s consulting
practice focuses on closer connections between people’s dreams
and their work life. He seeks to apply underlying ideals directly to
responsibilities.
Clients since 1979 have included communities, nonprofits and a wide range
of corporations. He is an experienced team builder, meeting facilitator
and executive coach. He is expert in the use of several whole-system
and long-term planning technologies.

Employs system-wide programs and large-scale activities to help organizations
and communities reformulate visions, strategies, and ways of operating.

Conducts powerful workshops for teams seeking to harness their collective

Citizen Diplomacy
Arranged visits of business people, teachers, and party officials to
the US from the former Soviet Union, including a dozen one-month internships
for Soviet citizens in American entrepreneurial businesses (1988-91).
“ Totally Fulfilling Business”
Organized and facilitated two “triple bottom line” national
conferences on transforming the nature of accountability in business
(1996, 1997).
Presidents’ Summit
Served as “lead facilitator” during national summit on voluntarism.
Facilitated action-planning delegations to redesign youth services in
ten cities and three states (1997).
International Development/Peace-making
Facilitated a two-day forum for leaders of several major Kurdish political
parties seeking mutual understanding, support, and collaboration (2000).
EarthDreams.net
Created and managed website providing free management and fund raising
resources for environmental nonprofits. (1999-2001).
Regional Sustainability Summit
Lead task force for convening of region-wide (Delaware Valley) conference
to create a long-term agenda to address sustainability and quality-of-life
challenges for a tri-state area. Participating stakeholders included
business, government, religious communities, design professionals,
education, and
environmental nonprofits (2003).
